Update: I haven't had much time to work on my article/tutorial. Still, the tutorial portion is pretty much done, and I have 15 samples (with 1 or 2 still to go). The samples range from dumb (another 640x480 resizer) to pretty cool (eg Favorites 2 HTML, 15kb, and URL to Clipboard, 7kb). I need to polish the text, add some navagation for the samples, and stop making new samples, before I can post the thing. Wish me luck.

(PS. The scripts are installed via INF files, and can be uninstalled like programs.)

DOH! I was writing an article on this! I'll probably carry on anyway, since I do have some things to offer:

  • More examples. I've written scripts that add CSS rules to a page, give all tables borders, and validate a webpage (via the W3C).
  • More info. Did you know context menus can have cookies, read from the registry, and read/write files?

Unfortunately, the article won't be done for at least a month. I'll post it on SiteExperts when it is, though.

the reg file the page created for me doesn't add the actual URL into the registry for the extension.
