This looks like what I need for my app but I need the users to be able to add folders and files to a database that will live under the respective folders they created. Any ideas? Thanks

Just a minor thing that you can use to improve it. Currently the links are setup to have the href="#" and the onlick is used for the javascript action. If you replace "#" with "javascript:;" it will prevent the window from scrolling to the top everytime you click to expand a section and will stay in place.

A Good example to demonstrate the tree view with JavaScript. Excellent!!!

Is anyway can make this folder tree to do this: User click the "level 1", then click the "level 2" and the "level 1" will closed automatically when the user click the "level 2".
