Comment to previous post: Yes, it's old. But so are, for example, Geroge Orwell's novels, and they're still topical. If Nielsen had republished the very same article last week, it would still be a good read, because web design mistakes haven't changed much in the past three years. I suppose he should revise that list again sometime soon, since it has been another three years now. True, no TOC. But he marks up the headlines with proper H2 tags, which any decent browser should be able to use for quick navigation.

This article has 2 major drawbacks: it's old (1999) - why does SiteExperts run it every 3 months?  Anyone can find it easilty by typing "web design" or "web usability" into a search engine? it's long, but does not start with a table of contents which summarises it and links to individual sections.  A usability guru should know better.
