For me, Netscape (4.71) works and IE (5.01) doesn't. A little poking reveals what must be a name space problem in IE.

Change start() and its references to icStart() and IE clocks run just fine.

JavaScript is relatively easy to write but the debugging environment is brutal; especially when you factor in the different browsers. I'll bet this code runs without a peep in the IE browser that was current when the code was created.

What browsers have been tested?  I am running IE5.0 and the demo doesn't work.
