OBJECT

The OBJECT element is used to allow an external program to render the contents. In most uses, the following information needs to be specified:

1. Where the implementation of the object exists,
2. Where or what data is to be rendered,
3. and any additional parameters required by the implementation.

An alternative representation can be specified as the OBJECT's contents. This representation is used when the browser does not support the object or cannot locate the specified implementation. Note that the alternative content should not be specified when the OBJECT is defined in the document's head.
