...the OFFICIAL RobinAnn Posting Style...
~ Scriptin' with RA ~

hello everyone, it's been a while! too long I should say.. I hope you are all well, and wonder exactlty who is still here to hear...

Let me tell you why I am posting today: I would like information or links to recommended scripts or websites that I may utilize for web analytics without javascript.

I know that if I could count how many times an image was downloaded, I could have a accurate count of page views per day. I do have access to my server.. can anyone can give me a script or provide me with a brief explanation on how this is done so I may decide if this is something I want to persue? I am running Apache.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! thank you.

Of course I'm still here RA, longingly waiting to hear something from you. :)

Tho, WRT your question, I'm not sure what you're looking for.
Maybe a logfile analyzer for your Apache server?
This one is a quasi-random finding, there're plenty...

The last time SE was up was about the time I posted this message - eep!

I started looking into this image counting issue back then.. I will look at that analyzer MHenke. Thank you :)

AWstats is a decent analyser. I use it on my webserver too.
