Moving an image / relative positioning problem?

I am developing a site which has five icons, as each icon is clicked the contents in a comment box and a pointer position is changed.

The dev site is visible at:
http://www.web-devel.co.nz/redbookpos/index.php

Everything appears to be working fine with firefox and Safari (apart from a delay in the pointer image appearing in firefox), but Opera shows the pointer in the comment block and IE shows the pointer above the comment block.

Can someone advise me of a better way of doing this that will work in all browsers.

Thanks in advance

Richard
