Profiles - Active Directory Hi there, can someone help me please? I am trying to find out how profiles in an Active Directory environment.  I have Windows 2000 server as a primary domain controller and a Windows 2000 server as a backup domain controller. A user's profile is not working correctly so deleted profile from user's pc, the PD controllers profile directory but when I recreate the profile settings are being downloaded from somewhere and I am assuming it is from the backup domain controller that keeps a copy of certain user details. ctcrmcou on Jan 17, 2007 at 4:53:37 AM (# 1) Sorry, there's nobody home.  While this site was once filled with life and laughter, it is now just a ghost town.  Maybe one question per day worth reading, but then the replys are usually not followed up on.  So we all just kinda stick to the few personal moments shared amongst the regulars (all seeming to be currently in sabatical, until one awakens the rest with a personal topic of interest), or beef up the posting count of the IT.  Perhaps it's because the site looks like a leftover pile of deprecated tags from the early nineties, who knows.  In any case, good luck with your question, perhaps one young exhuberant stranger may answer soon.  As for me, I'll be signing off now until the next ice age.....
