This message has been edited.

Should work if you're running XP or Vista. Windows 7 comes with it pre-installed so I assume you're not using that.

2 things:
1. Which operating system? I'd assume you're using XP as you've said SP2. It may be worth upgrading to SP3 first.
2. What is the error you're getting?

You should google the exact error message and you may get some help. I've seen funnies before on laptops because of the way the manufacturer builds the install. Also, it's worth checking the asp.net forums as well as there may be answers there.

If you have installed earlier pre-release versions of .NET Framework 3.5, then you must uninstall them prior to running the latest version. That will resolve the problem for you.

Thanks Computer Repair
