 REALTIME UPDATE OF A WEBSITE USING JAVASCRIPT

How do I get to update a website in real time without having to click on the refresh button on the site using javascript.

Two methods AJAX XMLHttpRequest or Flash Actionscript.

You can also use an iframe/div with javascript to change the .src or .innerHTML.

You can also use setInterval to do routine update or onmouse events to stimulate the changes.

You could also use something like JQuery to get data from the server and then update the page accordingly. That would by similar to the XMLHttpReqest but you have to start messing with JSON then...maybe not such a good idea.
