 SiteExperts.com 2.0 and Community Server

I am making progress on a major upgrade to SiteExperts.com.  My plan is to migrate the entire site over to use the community server software.  Does anyone have expertise with Community Server and is willing to provide assistance?

My immediate issue is that I need help determining how to import the user list and existing discussions into Community Server.

Once I determine how to do the above, I wll most likely provide a beta of the site.

Also, you may have noticed I removed the job market forum.  99% of the posts were spam.

No, if I remember correctly the records also use the identifier field type for ids (might be wrong there like)

A quad-core should make it run incredibly fast too. Is it the full version of SQL you are using as the database? I can't remember the other, if any, options community server can use.

...the OFFICIAL RobinAnn Posting Style...
~ Is this the end...? ~

Does this mean no more html posts :-( ? Please forgive my lack of knowledge with what you are switching us all into... and ps: ...how soon before the official switch?

I'm pretty sure you can turn on HTML posts but I think it blocks linking to external sites for images, CSS  and things like that.

Personally, I prefer the plain text since it's easier to navigate....

You should have most of the HTML functionality available today (I will tweak the underlying implementation if necessary)

I am probably 4-6 weeks out as I am going to wait for the new version of community server to be released so I don't have to do 2 migrations.

Also, before I transition over, I will expose a beta URL so it can be fleshed out.

A beta URL to all and sundry, or emailed to specific people from whom you know you'll get objective feedback?

I would say emailed to specific people so spammers like g.a.m.e. (still not bothering to hold down shift) (and others) can't pollute the new site.
