Video view problems with Internext Exp.

I am able to view videos on Google and YouTube and other sites where the video is within the browserview videos on google videos, YouTube and other sites within the same browser window. But on websites like CNN,
Yahoo and MSNBC where the video is opened in a new browser window I cannot
view any video/audio at all. I receive this message: The instruction at "0x012d541f" referenced memorat at "0x003d6769". The memory could not be "written".  An error has occurred in Internet Explorer.

It is NOT a windows Media Player problem. I have dumped all my toolbars, run anti-virus checks, and tried to send messages to Microsoft.  No one responds and I doubt anyone here will respond either.  I have reinstalled a new media player as well.  This all happened about 2 months ago and I cannot figure what started it all since I have not added any new programs that I can think of.

I am running Windows 2000 on this laptop.  Any suggestions, even far-fetched ones will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mike
