In c#, we wanted the help regarding the serial port programming(com1) ,we are trying to communicate 2 PC's wireless through serial port,the transmission is taking place through serial cable conneted to 2 pc's,but the problem is that it displays in some encoded form,same encoded characters are received  again and again even if we send different words  ,we are confused ,please help ,if    it     takes   time plz mail us at ourprojectteam@yahoo.co.in we'll be very thankful if u do so

There is a sample for serial comms on the MSDN site I think, just google for it. However, it is in VB.NET - you'll have to port it. Essentially you have to link into the Windows API and access the serial port that way.
