| Disassembling a computer|
Ok...here's the problem.
I ordered all of the components for my computer (motherboard, RAM, CPU). Well, when I put the new motherboard in (the chassis comes out on that side, making installation easy), and tried to re-assemble, the RAM actually hits the metal part in the chassis where the CDR sits.
So the question I have is this: Is it possible to disassemble the chassis? I mean, there is an area where you slide the CDR into, and screw it into place. Can I remove that piece somehow?
Also, I can't figure out where everything plugs into. Like from the power button to the motherboard.
There has to be a way to strip the chassis down further. Anybody know how? It's for an HP xe813 that I'm trying to upgrade and convert to Linux.
