SiteExperts.com Personal Assistant
The Personal Assistant makes you more effective at browsing SiteExperts.com. Now, when you see an article or link that you want to remember, you can call on the assistant to remember the article for you. When you are ready to read the article, you use the assistant to navigate directly to the article. In addition, if you build up a long list of articles, your personal assistant can help you through the articles one at a time.

You tell the assistant to remember links by clicking on the text: Add to Assistant or PA. When you click on the text, the assistant remembers the link and tells you the link is added in the status bar. The first link you add to the assistant brings up the assistant window. This initial view requires an interaction with the server and may take a few moments to download. Once the assistant is loaded, all subsequent additions are added instantly on the client.

The assistant is a carefully scripted web page that runs in its own browser window. Therefore, many times the assistant ends up behind the browser window. On windows, you can bring the assistant back to the top by using ALT-TAB to switch browser windows, or selecting the assistant from the task bar. Each time you add a new item to the assistant, it is automatically brought on top of the browser.

We have enabled the support for the Personal Assistant for all JavaScript enabled browsers except Internet Explorer 3.x. Also, there are still a number of pages and areas that are not hooked into the assistant. These pages will be added over the next few weeks. Please let us know if you have problems or feedback about the assistant.
